About the race
Men's road race — 165.6 km loop with two intermediate sprints (Salawa km 32.3 and Kotiyakumbura km 74). Team cap 10 riders per province.
Regulations
Organisers issue one race number for the bike and two body numbers to every rider. All three must be worn correctly for the entire race.
Technical assistance may only be received from the back of the peloton. Assistance while the race is in motion is not permitted.
Food and drinks from the team car may only be handed up between km 30 after the start and the final 10 km. Riders must raise a hand and inform the judges before dropping back to the team car, then rejoin from the back of the peloton.
Team cars must display the sticker provided by the organisers. The team-car sequence number must be visible on the front and rear of the vehicle.
Outside the designated feed zone, only technical assistance may be provided at any point on the route.
Maximum team-car height: 1.66 m. All team cars must be arranged and cleared through the provincial officials.
Two neutral-service vehicles will be supplied by the organisers.
All riders must sign the starting register at least 30 minutes before the race start.
When a railway level-crossing barrier is down, crossing it is strictly prohibited.
Every team car entering the race must present the following at the managers' meeting: vehicle type, registration number, a copy of the revenue licence and a copy of the driver's valid driving licence.
Within 30 minutes of the finish, the 1st, 2nd and 3rd-place riders must be ready at the podium ceremony wearing their official (provincial or club) sports kit.
No support vehicle or motorcycle other than the officially registered team car may travel with the race.
Team managers must make riders available on request for anti-doping control checks.
Prizes are awarded for the two intermediate stage sprints (men) / one intermediate sprint (women) marked on the route.
Any protest must be submitted in writing by the team manager to the chief judge within 30 minutes of the finish. The judge's decision is final.
Any amendment to the technical guide will be decided by the jury panel after discussion with the organisers.
